The First Day

After your tattoo session, leave the bandage on for at least 2-4 hours. Wash your tattoo with mild soap and water, then pat it dry with a clean paper towel. Allow it to air dry for 10-15 minutes before applying aftercare products.

Healing Process

For traditional method: Apply a thin layer of fragrance-free moisturizer or tattoo-specific aftercare cream 2-3 times a day for the first 2 weeks. Keep your tattoo clean and avoid soaking it in water, including swimming and hot tubs, until fully healed.

For Saniderm/Dermalize film method: Follow the specific instructions provided by your tattoo artist. Typically, leave the film on for 6 days before gently removing it. Clean the tattoo as directed and follow any additional care recommendations.

  • Refrain from scratching or picking at your tattoo to prevent scarring and infection.

  • Wear loose, breathable clothing to prevent irritation and allow your tattoo to breathe.

  • If you experience any unusual pain, swelling, or signs of infection, consult your tattoo artist or a healthcare professional immediately.
